No Need to Drill nails into the wall: If you dont want to drill holes in the wall, you can use these hooks for hanging the shelf. We have tried  these hooks before for and they work well with our hangers. However, the hooks are a third party product and  we bear no quality and efficiency guarantee for them. 

Care: Hand wash the cotton rope in mild soap solution. For the wooden slab we recommend varnish or polish once a year for durability.
