Kouna (Kauna), a kind of seagrass with its simple yet extremely light and durable design, has been used for handweaving these baskets.

Because of its unique looks and sturdiness, this natural straw has been traditionally used for decades in Northeast India and neighboring places in daily home utility items. This grass is harvested, stripped, dyed and woven by women cooperatives to form intricate designs.

Sturdy, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing, these planters are perfect to spruce up any corner of your home. It can also be used as a storage organizer.

Note: We recommend using a second pot inside. Do not grow in the planter directly. These baskets are to be used indoors only.

Usage information

Clean with a damp cloth and avoid using any chemical-based cleaning agents. In case of any mold formation due to excessive moisture, place the planter in sun for a few hours and then dust them off. It shall be as good as new.
