Review for plant starter essential kit.

I tried that starter pack. so far it's been good. To begin with the spray is not meant for flowering plants. I sprayed it on 5 flowering plants and lost them all. Tried it on non-flowering plants and it did pretty well. Secondly, the soil mixture is good but whenever I water my plants, all the water drains off. I mean the soil either gets too soggy or doesn't hold the moisture. Im still clueless how to solve this issue. The soil remains moist for a longer time. For instance even in summer, I water my plants once a week. Maybe its my mistake that I over-water or its a well drained soil that I don't understand less is more. I'm still learning from my mistakes and also learning to take care of the plants. Thirdly, I mixed the neem compost with vermi-compost for my dying Gardenia but still couldn't save it. I hope it works fine in the future.
